Television Judges

I understand many people like the whole "reality" television movement, but should we make light of our judicial system by putting the on television like stars.  Can we really expect impartial rulings? I don't think so...It seems like they play their rulings to what would get the best ratings.   Judges are meant to be a part of checks and balances for our government, not celebrities.
It is just like our current president and first lady.  They seem to care more about being liked and fashionable then president.   I don't think the presidency will ever be the same.  If you want to be president or a judge I guess you better hit the gym, get some plastic surgery and marry a model.  Oh, wait. It's her cloths that look nice.  Sorry again, not even they look good.

Pre-Nupials

Every time I hear about a pre-nup, It sickens me.   You want to marry someone, but don't trust them not to take everything you have.    Why are you marrying the person if you don't trust them?  Why would you marry someone who has so little trust in you that they require a pre-nup?   In the first place, they are already looking toward divorcing you.   Either they distrust you or plan on trading up in a few years.

I read this article and think the court was right to throw the pre-nup in the garbage.

http://www.today.com/id/51148829/ns/today-relationships/t/court-voids-prenup-wife-signed-days-wedding-millionaire/#.UT_lQBxeamg

Once you have children, the prenups should be thrown in the garbage.  The what's mine is mine and what's yours is mine bologna is ridiculus.   Women marry to be equal partners in a relationship, not top dog and future divorcee.

Mesquite Independent School District

http://usnews.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/05/22/11810461-texas-yearbook-labels-some-special-needs-students-mentally-retarded?lite

Mesquite Independent School District really taught their kids a lesson.   It is ok to make mistakes.  Was this really a mistake?  Or an intentional label?   They really don't seem to appologize, just say oops.  I guess that makes it all ok.   The kids in the video seems to act like...What does it matter? It wasn't me.   I guess all that matters is it might tarish the graduating class.   There needs to be more responsibility taken by the school.  The "it's a mistake" attitute is far from an appology.

They need to teach their students that it is not ok.   How would they feel if it happened to them?

This forces me to think about the school I pulled my son out of.   Even supposedly mainstreamed special ed students are pulled into a seperate classroom for most of the day.    The desks are placed in a way that the students have huge distances between them.   Some desk positions look like the lepur desk.  The children eat at a seperate special ed table.

I guess special needs is the new discriminated group.   Has our society learned absolutely nothing about history.    Special ed students are singled out into supposed classrooms that serve their education needs.  Yeah, right

I learned everything in Special Ed (as far a the basics including reading, writing and math) are allways next year.   My son's placements were so equal.  His class achievements one year were potty training (he knew prior to school) and making paper airplanes.  At home, he was doing addition, subtracting and other things he should have been learning at school.  How is that equal to other students who were learning the skills he was ready to learn?

In the pivotal case of Plessy v. Ferguson in 1896, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that racially separate facilities, if equal, did not violate the Constitution. Segregation, the Court said, was not discrimination.

Was a bathroom labeled "black" so much different from a class labeled "life skills", "autistic" or "special ed"?   I don't think so.   It all comes down to a denial of basic rights.    Let's make sure everyone knows you are different.

Special ed seperate and definately unequal opportunities.

Pakistan

http://worldnews.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/04/03/10994015-wanted-by-us-for-10-million-hafiz-saeed-mastermind-of-mumbai-attack
Just what we needed...US is offering $10 million for founder of Pakistani militant group.  Did someone ignore the National debt.   Think what could be done if these rewards went to help our own economy.  Use it to create jobs.  Let the other nations of the world take the torch for a little while.   Our big noses is creating a large problem in the world.   Countries keep looking to the US for peacekeeping, aid and money.   There comes a time when countries must take care of themselves.    This includes the US.

Consider the high cost for daycare.  So many mothers cannot work because the daycares cost more then they could earn.  Daycare costs can be as high as $600 per month, per child.   The high costs do not mean a quality program exists.   With so many dads thinking that child support is sufficient and not really taking responsibility, these costs hit single mothers the hardest.   They need the help that should have come from the fathers, but some change less than the cost of daycare is good enough.   Unfortunately, fathers have more rights than their children.    Wouldn't it be a novel concept if fathers actually had to help take care of their children.

Look at the dress on Amandla Stenberg.  I looks like a pair of shoulder pads sewed on a curtain.
Such an ugly dress for a little girl.

Vogue article about 7 year old's weight

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/cutline/vogue-article-mom-7-old-daughter-weight-sparks-175546979.html
Hello, people!!! You complain about having too many obese children.  Then, you complain about them being on a diet.   Yes, 800 calories can be a huge problem for a child with weight issue.  With so many people on the fast food diet, people have forgotten what a normal person should eat.   Hot chocolate should be avoided..a whole meal in a cup (at least out).  She has a hard road in front of her, but the initial struggle is worth it.  She may have saved he daughter from a pre-mature heart attack.   My daughter twirls baton and weight really seems to matter.  Average sized girls have an easier time twirling and their suits fit much better.   I would recommend exploring a sport the child might enjoy.  My daughter has trimmed down and gained muscle along the way.  She has also gained confidence.  I would recommend teaching the child why obesity is a bad thing.  And what opportunities open up with decreased weight.

Miss Universe hopeful

I am glad this phoney was pointed out.  The gall of this idiot trying to steal the title from a deserving girl.   This stupidity is just another example of how society in going downhill.   If were born a boy, stand up and be one.   If you were born a girl, be proud of who you are.  This grass is greener, easy way out, gender-changing idiocy is just pathetic.   I am so tired of the weirdos infecting society.   Keep it in the closet, everyone else is tired of seeing and hearing about it.
